A little bit about me…
With more than a decade of experience in hospitality, Simone Imlach is Co-Owner of Imlach Hospitality Group, overseeing three Gold Coast venues: Bine Bar & Dining, Hideaway Kitchen & Bar and Precinct Brewing.
Simone’s hospitality journey began with a café in Nobby Beach before she left her corporate accounting career to focus full-time on building the group. Together, they grew Imlach Hospitality Group to eight venues at its peak, gaining extensive experience across venue operations, financial management, business growth, team leadership and the development of hospitality leaders.
Today, Simone focuses on the strategic and financial management of the group, while remaining deeply involved in the people and culture of each venue. She is particularly passionate about mentoring young leaders, creating opportunities for career progression and empowering the next generation of hospitality professionals.
She is also committed to using hospitality as a platform for community connection and fundraising, including her ongoing work with Baby Give Back.
In 2025, Simone was named Gold Coast Bulletin’s Woman of the Year in the Professional category, bringing increased recognition to her work within the hospitality industry and advocacy for women in hospitality. Since then, she has been invited to speak on podcasts, participate in industry and community events, and judge the Year 12 Entrepreneurship Pitch Event at All Saints.
The VENUE
River House sits on the Nerang in Southport, quietly reasserting the Gold Coast’s lost art of hospitality. Under one roof, three rooms keep three different promises: a restaurant for the weekend, a neighbour for Monday night, and a floor built for celebrations. The river sets the pace for all three.
