Laura Goldberg is a hospitality leader, speaker and mental health advocate, and the founder of Women in Cafes & Restaurants, a growing community created to champion, connect and elevate women across the hospitality industry. She is also a Burnt Chef Project Ambassador, using her lived experience to advocate for better mental health support, open conversations and more sustainable leadership in hospitality. Alongside her role as COO in the family-owned Hurricane’s Grill Restaurants, Laura is an author, regular industry speaker and proud mum, passionate about shining a light on the women behind the scenes, building strong industry networks, and creating spaces where women in hospitality feel supported, valued and empowered to thrive.

Anna Pholaket

Anna Pholaket is the owner of Melrose Restaurant & Rooftop Bar in Bulimba. After more than 15 years in finance as a Private Banker, she made the bold decision to pivot into hospitality and pursue her dream of business ownership.
As a hands-on operator and single mum, Anna is involved in every aspect of the business from developing food and cocktail concepts to overseeing daily operations, leading her team, and creating memorable dining experiences.
She is passionate about authentic hospitality, empowering women in the industry, and sharing the realities of balancing business ownership with motherhood. Her journey is built on resilience, determination, and the belief that it’s never too late to back yourself and follow your passion.

Greta Wohlstadt
Hospitality Operations Leader

Greta Wohlstadt is a hospitality operations leader with more than 15 years experience leading high performing restaurants, building strong teams and bringing clarity to complex, fast paced environments.

Originally from the Barossa Valley, Greta’s career has been shaped by some of South Australia and Queensland’s most respected hospitality groups. She played a key role in the growth of Jock Zonfrillo’s Orana, where she worked from its inception in 2013 through to its closure in 2020, contributing to the restaurant’s national recognition, including Gourmet Traveller Restaurant of the Year and Good Food Guide Restaurant of the Year. In 2018, she was nominated for Gourmet Traveller’s Maître d’ of the Year.

Greta has since held senior leadership roles across arkhé and Anyday Hospitality, where she now works as Area General Manager in Brisbane, overseeing multi-site operations across Anyday’s City precinct.

Greta’s leadership is grounded in the belief that strong businesses are built through strong people. She is passionate about creating environments where teams have clear direction, genuine support and the confidence to take ownership. Her work sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, focused on building leadership capability, strengthening culture and creating sustainable operating rhythms that support consistent performance.

Morghan Graham
Business Development Managerfor DAP & Co.

Morgan began with DAP & CO in 2018 as Assistant Manager at Walter’s Steakhouse. Having studied International Hotel and Tourism Management at UQ, she enjoyed eight years in Marketing at Channel Nine before making the leap into the hospitality industry. After a four year run at Walter’s, she has taken a step away from the restaurant floor and transitioned to the role of Business Development Manager. Morgan has an eye for detail and looks forward to helping DAP & Co. grow and develop all while delivering exceptional events and functions across the group.

Leah Dunnigan is the Venue Manager of Savile Row and a two-time Australian Bartender of the Year, recognised for their leadership, creativity, and passion for the hospitality industry. Alongside creating exceptional guest experiences and championing innovation behind the bar, they are a dedicated advocate for mental health, safer and more inclusive workplaces, and greater representation of women in hospitality. Through mentoring, industry events, and community engagement, Leah is committed to helping build a culture where people feel supported, empowered, and inspired to thrive, making them a passionate voice for the future of hospitality.
