Jacquie Chan
Jacquie Chan is Founder and Managing Director of Miss Chow’s, a Western Australian hospitality and FMCG brand spanning premium restaurants and national retail food distribution. Originally from the coloured diamond and pearl trade, Chan brings a strong eye for craftsmanship, detail and design to her approach to hospitality.
Her move into food and beverage was inspired by personal experience: living with food allergies, she found herself excluded from much of Perth’s Asian dining scene. This became the catalyst for Miss Chow’s, built around contemporary Asian flavours, refined design and inclusive dining.
Today, Chan’s focus is on creating distinctive hospitality experiences while maintaining quality, creativity and brand integrity.

Background Profile
Jacquie Chan’s approach to hospitality is shaped by a career built around craftsmanship, detail and design. After establishing herself in the coloured diamond and pearl trade, she entered hospitality following her own experience of being excluded from Perth’s Asian dining scene because of food allergies. That experience became the catalyst for Miss Chow’s — a brand built around bold contemporary flavours, refined design and genuinely inclusive dining.
From its first venue at Claremont Quarter, Miss Chow’s has evolved into a multi-channel hospitality and FMCG business, with distinctive restaurants across Western Australia alongside a national retail food operation supplying ready-made meals to Coles and independent supermarkets.
Chan’s focus, however, has never been solely about growth. Each Miss Chow’s venue is designed around its location and audience, bringing together food, design, local produce and a strong sense of place. Margaret River takes this further as a destination experience, incorporating events, entertainment and the region’s food and wine culture alongside dining.
The brand’s retail evolution began during COVID-19, when Chan launched Miss Chow’s At Home in response to dining restrictions. What started as a necessity became a significant national operation.
Today, Chan is deliberately sharpening the group’s focus around the Miss Chow’s restaurant brand. Her approach is less about footprint and more about creating distinctive hospitality experiences — with creativity, inclusion, quality and brand integrity at the centre.
More than a restaurant. A place where contemporary Asian flavours, Western Australian produce and generous hospitality come together.
Miss Chow’s is not simply an Asian restaurant brand — it is a hospitality experience built around storytelling, place, exceptional WA produce and making people feel welcome. That idea is reinforced across the site, including its events and dining experiences
